Analicia Mejia is 22 years old, originally from Long Beach, California. She is currently a 3rd year student at UCSB double majoring in psychology and sociology. At UCSB, she is also a Resident Assistant in the residence halls on campus. Through this job, she provides support and assistance to incoming and continuing residents who choose to live on-campus. In addition, she is also a teacher’s assistant at the Children’s Center, where she watches infants and helps take care of them. Analicia also sits on the board of CCY, as the youth vice chair. As part of the board, Analicia works with other youth her age to represent the youth of California, and bring about topics, issues and policies that are currently important to the lives of young people today. During her free time she enjoys hanging out with friends, going online, and even driving home to Long beach.
