My thought on hope…….
Hope is the most powerful gifts to all. Hope is a driving force behind the motives of progressive, those who want to move foward. There are many elements that come with success, but first there must be a vision of where an individual sees themself within the universe. At this moment, peoples hopes are fading right along with the vision and dream all because of the issues that America is going through. As we live in a democracy, when will we the people rise above the determental issue of today? People are losing the very things that should come free to all american and humans in general. We are losing hope at the moment. We are losing faith at the moment. Trust and believe. I wish I had an answer and way to fix all that is precieve by others to be wrong. I am just a youth trying to keep going, and to pay some kind of respect to all the blood, tears, and sweat toward making my present a presence. So now the big question: am I willing to do the same to provide for the future I wish to see? Our youth not only need the adults with power but we need our own peers to help and create a vision and bring faith and hope back to life. Bring life and hope to those who are sick, unemployed, homeless, hungry, or better yet those who are in great need of faith nd hope.

Today is the beginning of a beautiful day. For some reason I have writers block and can not spill out anything from this brain of mine. I am looking forward to working with my kids today and see what new thing I can learn. As an Ice breaker for today we are going to play Two truths and a Lie. I find that kids love it when you just act like a kid yourself so this something that I enjoy doing because it keeps me feeling young no matter how old my knees may feel……. I hope someone laughed at that. I am in Los Angeles giving my time to my kids at the Bresee Foundation because I love to come down and spend time with them. I know that part of my calling in this world is to work with kids I just dont know on what capacity but that is why the journey of living is awesome. I feel that were ever I am what ever I do, my journey will always bring me back to kids and trying to be some kind of instrument of positivity and live change.

I am excited and I am getting prepared for all the stuff that me and my co host, who is pretty amazing, are going to bring to the life of CCY. We are growing in sync with one another so that we look like one person as emcee. I love being an instrument of some kind of knowledge for others. Emceeing CCY’s Taking Action Conference is a great opportunity for me to do that. Again I am excited there is a lot going on in my life at the moment and CCY is my weekend plan and again I AM EXCITED.

Everyday there is an opportunity that is given to us to partake in someone else’s life. That could be through a simple smile and hello to helping them with financial needs. When attempting to be an instrument of influence, because this is what we are as humans, we don’t attempt to walk in that person’s shoes. The reason why this is so heavy on the mind is the fact that people could be afraid to do so. The reasons are unknown but the possibilities could be that of, challenging their identity, forcing them to look at their truths with the essence of change, it could force someone to have to consider themselves to be ignorant.

Walking in another person’s shoes doesn’t mean literally. Walking in another’s shoes is to actually listen to them, empathize with them, gain a love, understanding, and passion for that other individual life. I feel we tend to look away because it is the easy thing to do especially when selfish thoughts is all that lingers in mind. How do I become rich? How do I get to the next level? What kind of car will I buy? What kind of shoes am I going to buy? Stepping in another’s shoes is very hard because this is something that I try to do because the feeling that you gain cannot be compared to the feeling that you possessed before taking that opportunity to listen, understand, and challenge who you are as a person.

Up in the Capitol CCY fights for individuals who walk in many shoes, and tries to listen to the youth that need to be understood. CCY, I believe, is getting those stories out into the world and is giving LAW MAKERS an opportunity to be challenged. Law makers will have the opportunity to listen to others, empathize and be understanding – in other words, walk in others’ shoes, which may result in sore feet and even missing toes.

In your life you will encounter many connections who are not willing or ready to build a relationship with you. That is why some people say friends come and friends may go. Why do they sit and look at who is actually there continuously building on the relationship at hand.

Healthy Relationships can be built from the ground on up. Communication and understanding are the keys to creating that atmosphere of having a healthy relationship. When a relationship becomes unhealthy, big decisions must be contemplated. But when making that decision or thinking about it, how many times do we say forever and really mean it - especially when our identity is challenged by the one’s we are in a relationship with. When we are challenged to unconditional care go out the window. Just because we are not within a relationship anymore doesn’t mean that you don’t exist, there is just a need for distance so that people can be healthy. That person that you have built a relationship with has taken from you part of who you are because of the growth and that is something to think about.

I dont know why this is on my mind but it may be because as CCY’s conference comes about, are we will be looking to build connections or relationships and this is the responsibility of both parties.

Something on my mind and there is always more to come.

In life everyone tries to live it as they see fit. Some times the way that one would see that happening is by self gaining. Meaning that they live life trying to fulfill their need and their wants out of life. To me this doesnt work, for me, because we are apart of a whole therefor we have some responsibility to others.

As we live there is always going to be someone trying to live right beside up us, ahead of us, or even behind us but there is always going to be someone trying to pursue this journey to a certain point in time so that a self definition is then established. When do we know that we are at that point when do we know that we are at the destination of fulfillment. People are what drive the world and with that every individual that take part in the creation of our tomorrow has a responsiblity to the person beside then because the moment that you gift to someone else could be the moment in which definition of what we see as bad, evil, no good start to stand over the good that can come from what moment could bring into someones life.

I feel strong about the fact that we all play a part in this world and it greater than we know because some of us like to live in the now but neglect that the now is everything. My now is all that could be influence by my writing. Whether they like it or not my know is you and my yesterday is knowledge that could be brought into this moment for us to share with greater purpose.

There will be more to come…………

“ Without the guidance of the creative conscience it’s easy to get overworked, addicted, exhausted, or sick (or all of the above). When that happens you know your heart and soul are starving to death. Your creative conscience must resort to pain and discomfort to get your attention. The pain is there for a reason. you need to do something about it. Veer too far off the path of the heart and you get a pebble in your soul. Life hits you over the head with one of those big lessons: illness, an auot accident, bankruptcy, the relationship that ends painfully.

Some of life’s catastophes are preventable, some are not. Indulging in self destructive behavior, like addiction or abusive relationships, can be reversed. But what about circumstances beyond your control? How can you predict that your company is going to downsize you out of a job? Or that an earthquake or flood will leave you homeless? Or that your spouse will die? Whether you are facing a crisis of your own making or one that was thrust upon you, Visioning wokrs. Acquiring the habit of listening to you heart and giving voice to your creative conscience is a great survival strategy, enabling you to design and build the life you want with the pieces that life has given you.” Visionig by Lucia Capacchione

Even though things happen and there will have to be some time set aside for reflection and induring pain. That is understandable but it is not a place where you want to remain. Everyone will go through something tragic in there life. Some will have little to no clue how to cop. There is something called hope and faith. Everyone has a mission on this earth and all that is around you are instrument to guide you along the path. You are the master of your fate. You are the conqueror of your soul. You control your happiness. It is really hard to think in terms of visioning when tragedy is of the essence, but you can! There is a message always given when things happen. You must trust yourself, that it is going to be ok. Because you are a living instrument put on this earth for a purpose, so take that and run. Take time to take care of yourself with healthy ways in mind. Think, the world wouldn’t be complete with out you, for you are a key element to the rotation of the world while you are on your journey.

From that moment there we create a bubble
Not trying to free Now we in trouble
Watch your back and always step carefully
Don’t want to step on no toes
For that might be the day, prepare for you hole
Because you just don’t know
What you don’t know
And the world just wont show
What you should know
To survive on the street
Leering away from what was suppose to be
Trying to figure out a brand new me
With out a gun, and a crew
Behind the red and the blue
Beyond the me and the you
The why and the who
What when and where
Will I be able to take hold and share?
A world with my self for sometimes
We are born into the struggle
Then we have to create a bubble
Bring the first name of choice called trouble
Breaking free trying to learn and listen
Find my path embark on a mission
Not knowing where it would lead
But this is a want and not what “I need”
Cant read between the lines
Of what’s there’s and what mine
Where I can go and where I must stay
Stuck in one place, one way, one world
Back at point A
Sometimes we are Born in a struggle
Therefore we mold our own bubble
Only leading to trouble
Trying to break free but the only person holding me back

IS ME.

This poem is something that I came up with as of Sunday August 1st, 2010. I am sitting in an airport awaiting my flight and listening music to be inspired. This poem comes is what comes to my mind.

It is true that sometime when we are born in a situation, a negative one at that, we see the world as that. Especially when the world out side of the one seen to us is not as welcoming. There needs to be a connection. There needs to be someway to build a bridge from one side to the other. But that is hard to do because there will need to be security and some large payoff to show even to take step on that bridge. Where have we come from as a people and where will we be if we drop the ball on giving our future and opportunity to shine.

We are leaving out kids in uneducated school to fail, not giving them the role models they need, not giving them a safe place to go when they come from an unsafe place at home, not giving them the resource to settle there hunger for food. Yes there are people worst off but where do we start to make the change. Why must entertainment, NFL, and or NBA be more important? Because these are the things we give more interest. Sad to say we even do this we have nothing just to keep up with the GATES. I am going to do what I can to get my kids to fight because this is what they are going to have to do to make it.

Thanks to us this is what we have chosen for our future. When will it stop.
